Burglar Alarm Kit dosnt sound

My problem is that the alarm wont sound. My buzzer every time I plug the battery it starts to get hot. I tested every single component with the volt meter & all have their proper value.

Hi, have you double checked 'polarities' of components? Make sure there is no solder bridge too.
If you have done everything correctly, there is a chance that you have a faulty component from the factory.
What is the voltage output to the buzzer?

Put the buzzer directly across the battery.

Does it produce an output?
