Broken MacBook LED Screen

I recently dropped my MacBook Pro 2009 edition on the corner of a table and dented the back as well as breaking my LED screen. I went too Apple and they want to charge me $500 to repair the screen, which I find very absurd. I was just curious of any less expensive alternatives then letting Apple repair my laptop. I looked into LED screens on Amazon, but want to make sure I get the right one and also that I will be able to install it once I buy it. Are there any other good websites besides Amazon that sell computer parts? Any suggestions or opinions will be greatly appreciated!!

Google for them, try ebay.

Just make sure you get *exactly* the right screen, because if you don't it's unlikely to work.

I recently replaced my screen on a toshiba satelite they wanted alot for a lcd screen but i bought the much cheaper led replacement But i had to purchase an adapter to convert laptop to led ill try to find out where it was that i got it and post back here with info
