Broken Cassette Deck

Hello I have a question about a Cassette Deck that needs repair I intentionally bought broken thinking that it would be a quick repair but now that I have the thing sitting in front of me I'm not sure how to fix it. Every thing seems to work it moves the tapes forward and back and stops etc... But the issue is that it will not play any sound and even the peak meter won't show any signs of it detecting audio the name of the Cassette Deck is a Kenwood stereo cassette Deck kx-66w.

Welcome to the forum. A quick google shows this is a dual cassette deck, correct? If so do both not play?

Yes both decks don't play any audio but moves the tapes with no problem
