I've been playing around with a boost converter I was sent by mistake for the last couple days. Its amazing the time you can do away messing around with one of these,a couple meters,a few bigger resistors and a notepad and pen(otherwise I forget). I find it very interesting and quite relaxing too.
It almost matches my PSU until it gets to around 9.8V then the converter jumps up to 15V! Its interesting finding out what everything in the circuit is doing and why.
