Best Way To Bypass A Digital Cable Box?

We just added digital cable. We would like to bypass the
cable box except when its needed. What is the easiest way
of doing this?

Any cable box I have had has an antenna in and and antenna
out connection and the decoded cable signal is added to the
antenna signal and you connect your TV downstream and tune
to whatever channel you need .
Anything off air or the decoder output channel.
