world does it happen that every time there's a cross post, no matter to what

This is NOT me, btw. I use yahoo, not hotmail. Why are you being so
hostile towards me? Is it because you thought i was a therapist,
taping clients without their consent? I am not a therapist! And i
asked my therapist's permission if i could tape our sessions before
doing it and she agreed it was okay.

I didn't think it was totally unrelated. After all, who would have
experience with such a broad range of digital recorders like

Well, to me, a great part of the fun of participating in USENET is meeting
other people with other backgrounds, and finding that you have something
in common to talk about.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to exploit USENET and various

No sense defending yourself to the narrow-minded. In most states as long as
one party knows that's all that matters when it comes to taping phone
conversations. Only 12 states requires that both parties know about a
taping. Those are CA, CT, FL, IL, MD, MA, MI, MT, NV, NH, WA, and PA. So if
you reside anywhere besides one of these states, even your therapist doesn't
have to know if you're recording it, as long as you know, which is a given.

Sorry, if this is bothering people. I am still very new to using
newsgroups and totally new to posting to groups using google. But, i
did think it was okay to post my message to all the groups i did,
cause i felt each of the groups i chose, would have an interest in and
possible knowledge about micro-cassette recorders.

[I have this voice in my head of an old cowboy, saying, "Now, just
you don't go worry your pretty little head about that!", but that'd
be sexist and ageist, so never mind.]

The thing is, there are no internet police (yet!), so you really can
do or say pretty much anything you want to, and about the only trouble
you'll get in might be to alienate a few readers. Or a bunch, if you're
a _real_ dork! ;-P ;-P ;-P <rimshot>

In fact, I'm almost surprised, at the length of this thread, and the
breadth of the crosspost, that a flamewar hasn't erupted already!
(albeit, I might already have some of the flamers filtered, and we're
probably all ignoring that troll.)
