Best Current Mirror

Dear All,

Can you please suggest which device is best suitable to employ a Current Mirror circuit : BJT or Op-Amp ? (or any other device) ?

How much current are you trying to mirror? How closely does the mirrored side have to mirror the current? How stable does the circuit have to be across a wide range of temperatures? We would need more information about what you are trying to achieve in order to give a detailed answer.

If +/-5% accuracy is good enough for you, a simple BJT based current mirror would be the cheapest and easiest solution.
