Basic resistor question

I'm new to electronics and i'm making the most basic circuit.I have a 9 volt power supply and then a resistor connected to an led then to another led. Its all connected in series. I was wanting to know if i need to use a resistor that's twice the ohms needed for 1 led or do i have my power supply > resistor>led>resistor>led ? Sorry i know its confusing. I have 9 volts power supple and 2 LEDs that require 3.2v at 30mA each. Thanks

There's a sticky explaining all that over in Electronic Projects.
You need one resistor only for this series connection. R = U / I = (9V - (2 * 3.2V)) / 0.03A = (9V - 6.4V) / 0.03A = 2.6V / 0.03A = 86.7 ohms. Use 86 ohms.
