They had steam powered TVs at MIT? ;-)

For me, comic books were an important part of growing up. In the
summer, I had a routine. I would walk along several streets, and pick
up bottles. When I had enough, I would take them to the local
mini-mart and cash them in to buy a comic book, and some candy. My
brother and I had a stack of comics almost three feet high, till our
mother made us get rid of them... ;-)
