Hi.
I'm a noob, so this may be a dumb question. I am assembling a vintage Heathkit amplifier from 1965 (still new in box). I have already ordered replacements for all the electrolytic caps in the kit as based on my research these are probably well past their useful life.
When I ordered replacements for the power supply filter caps, the ones I received are considerably smaller than the originial (see photo). However, they appear to be rated identically. There's no thermal rating printed on the original and I can't find printed spec. So, can I use these physically smaller caps?
Thanks for your assistance!
