Arduino Script for sending text messages

HI,

I've got a nano atmega 328 arduino board and also a 2.4 ghz transmitter which i would like to use to send out a text message to my email address. So far i've ran some scripts for the blinking lights and changed the delay on it but i would like to see if it can transmit a text message to my email address using a script stored on the board. Can anyone help out?

Need Power for Arduino Board

Hi,

I want to send and receive data using a Nano Atmega 328 arduino board, an old mobile phone and power supply to my mobile phone. I need to attach a power supply somehow to my nano atmega 328 and also run a script which can transmit and receive text messages.

I was thinking of attaching a 3v power plug into the nano but wasn't sure. Any suggestions would be great.
