New to the forum here. I've been building a Nixie clock lately and have just about everything done. However, upon testing the clock board I noticed that the tube connected to the first 7492 would skip the number 3 entirely and go all the way up to 6 causing the tube to blank out between 5 and 0. This is the first time I've encountered this as I've made several other clocks with this TTL design. I even swapped IC's to make sure, and got the same thing. I'm only using the divide-by-6 portion of the chip, so clock B is the main input. Hoping someone can offer an explanation for this weird behavior.
