40 pin lcd to 50 pin controller board

so I am doing this project where I'm making my own monitor for things that use HDMI and vga and all that. The monitor I got for it has a 40 pin connector and the controller board has a 50 pin connector in it. I don't really have a lot of time or money for this project so I was wondering if I can just solder the wires on the board and the monitor together but I'm not sure what pins Controll power or signal or anything. My LCD screen is off a hp pro book 4545s and my controller board I bought from this link https://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Controller-Board-1280x800-panel/dp/B01MS13A5W . I would really appreciate it if I could get some help asap. Thank-you.

Are you certain that the display and the controller are compatible?

Do you have the datasheets for both?

I don't have the data sheets but I was told that I can solder the wires together if I can figure out what pin is for what. But I can't find any info on the pins
