1967 sears am/fm phonograph; only tweeter speakers work not 12"

I have a vintage sears/silvertone, model 7067, am/fm phonograph. The 3" speakers work although I do not think they work correctly. I am unable to get full volume from the 3". I can not get any sound from the 12" speakers. I hooked up and external stereo to both sizes of speakers and they functioned just fine. Very loud. I do not have a schematic. The circuitry is transistor, resistor, and capacitors. No vacuum tubes. Any ideas. I am limited in test equipment.

ypu can usually find the schematics and stuff for those old sears/ so do a search online and see if you can find the right model/.? take it to an electronics shop.

You asked for ideas, so here's mine.
The minimum problem you have is dried-out electrolytic capacitors, due to the age of the stereo.
Might be the only problem, might not be if the over-stressed caps damaged other semiconductors.
Like tedstruk said, I've never had a problem finding a schematic for Sears products. You may even be able
to find one for your model on Sears own parts & service on-line site.
