well enough. We are just talking about getting a "quality feel" out of
some "cheap junk" parts here. We are not launching a space probe.
if thats what it is, just drop a lump of thick grease down the central
borehole, problem solved. It will move with the normal force but at a
slowed pace.
Alternatively maybe attach some kind of close fitting soft washer to
restrict the air leaving the borehole as the plunger goes home.
