Sir J Grabowski . . . . . .
If we look at the top schematic of your unit for referencing of the portion that contains the pilot we see an X and the fact that it seems to be using but one pilot light. ( I sort of expected two, with that wide of a dial scale. )
But the IMPORTANT information is that 6.3 volts and 300 milliampere specification, That would relate to the use of a
# 46 miniature incandescent lamp if it is a SCREW in bulb . . . or. . . if it is a BAYONET-pinned , that you twist in and turn to lock its 2 pins, then it is using a # 44 lamp.
The photo of the reflected illumination of the lamp . . .yellow oval . . .gives you a clue as to its positioning.
You will need to look at the bottom of the cabinet and expect 2-4 screws that hold the chassis down.
Remove them and wiggle the chassis around to see of there any further restraints from your being able to slide the chassis back and out from the cabinet. I hope that the frontal knobs and the dial scale come out intact as a unitized unit and that you do not need to remove set screws from the knobs.
After you just install the lamp and see it light up, unscrew it just enough to break connection, and repeat that for about 20 times so that you are arcing and cleaning oxide from both the lamps tit and the inside of the socket ( its harder access).
Then you are all ready for another XXX years of "Letting there be light ! "
Now . . . . I ask you . . . .Didn't this "hep" you out, a whole bunch ?
