Zenith TV System 3 "AC line fail" message

Hi again fellow techs.

A friend of mine has a 20 years old System 3 Zenith TV. (21" color TV)

It takes a long time to turn it on sometimes.

The following message is displayed on screen: "AC line fail".

Please tell me the cause of this message. If there is a power line

failure , I do not understand why this message can be displayed ??
