Zenith PTV PVR4663RK

D

Dave Moore

Got this model with whacked out convergence ( big time),
and no OSD

I used to, (way back when, once upon a time) be able
to order ufiche manuals for Zenith TV's for around
$5- $15

Anyone know where such cheap manuals can be got today?

Zenith's website http://www.zenith.com seems to be pretty
much useless.

Thanks =^^=DM

P.S. I'll settle for a not so cheap manual :)

Dave,
If you've still got that old microfiche reader I've probably still got that
manual on ufiche.
Let me know.

R3243 110K 1/2 W open will cause no OSD, and some other things too.
Don't have 110K on the shelf? Put a 120K in. It will sub, no
problem.

Thanks Bill,

Sorry to take so long to respond, my Rockwell modem
died and took out my PCI bus, or maybe the other way
around. ( who knows )

Anyway, one new modem and motherboard later,
I'm back in the saddle. :)

Yes, I do have a ufiche vieweer, however, someone
was kind enough to send me some scans.

Soon as I recover them from my old HD, I'll
check em out and see if they do the trick.
If they don't, I'll get back with you.

Thanks a heap.

Hi Jeff,
On behalf of the group and myself,
thanks for posting those tips.

As for the pound of solder, already did that.
Usually that's the first thing I do before doing any
serious troubleshooting..

As for the tips, I'll have a chance later this
week to check em out and see if any ring true.

Thanks a bunch
=^^= Dave
