In a monumentally stupid move, I was refurbing a Tek 576 and put the
covers in a "really safe place". They seem to have vanished without a
trace. First mistake this year, and it is not even June yet.
The rest of the refurb on the low hours unit went very well, so it
should be a high value item.
Want to buy the left and right cover. These are "L' shaped pieces of
aluminum that -- gee -- are Tek blue. They have single turn connectors
on them and the top side measures 5-1/4 x 18 and the side side measures
11 x 18. They are secured by one single turn fastener you use a dime or
a large screwdriver on.
Not sure if some plain old obsolete 7000 beastie is equivalent.
Price and availability?
