working with tge Mx29gl512f flash memory chip

hi guys ive been trying to use the Mx29gl512f chip in my project. The data sheet is very confusing. I don't understand a number if things fir example ... when reading the silicone id u perform a read operation with A9 raised high z abd tge other address lines held low. but think about it what if say I want to read from sector 0 address 0200h?? is it nit the same as reading the silicon Id??... Now comes reading the status bits.. for you to know that a program operation had completed you read a status bit.... a normal read operation. . but NOTE when the system finishes programming it goes into read mode now if this happens and u perform a read you will essentially read a memory location not the status register. .. it also talks about a bit that toggles .... tell me this at what rate does the bit toggle I mean on off time.... gee its mess... anyone who's worked with this chip

The 'Read ID' and other non-memory operations are more complex than that:


Notice how many operations must be performed to read the 'silicon ID.'
That's three writes and one read( AA to 555, 55 to 2AA, 90 to 555, then ID from 000)
