I'm looking for a few ideas regarding transmission of low power across
small distances, with size of the transmitter/receiver being more
important than efficiency. Somewhere around 5-10 watts across a 3-5
inch gap.
Most of the discussion I've seen regards high wattage across long
distances with high efficiency being a priority. But what about low
watts across short distances with equipment footprint being a
priority.
Laser / microwave seem to be the consensus, but where does one locate
the equipment necessary to build a small scale prototype? Or are there
better alternatives for this particular application?
