Wireless Infrared(IR) remote

I want to design 2 button remote for machine with on/off function.I am new to this & doesn't know how to make one.Plzzz.. suggest me some circuits for trasmitter & reciever for the remote..

welcome to the forums
dont know where you are from but...
have a look in some of the electronics stores, there are kitsets that do just that, that you would be able to build up

if nothing locally, have a look online there may be stores that will ship a kit to you
