Windows 98 Computer Modification, please help!!

Hello,

I have a Compaq Presario 5190 computer running Windows 98. (I think, I an unable to connect it to my monitor). The monitor that I a using is an "Apple Multiple Scan 15 Display" The attachment labeled monitor output is what it looks like. The PC does not take the same video cord so I am trying to out this in to it. ("This" is in the images labeled top of board and bottom of board). It is from a mac, this will go into the monitor. I don't know too much about compatibility between components of Windows and Mac computers. The computer the board with the proper video input came from was a Macintosh performa 637 CD. It is running system 7. If you need to see the inside of the PC I can provide a picture. If the solution is permanent please tell me.

I can provide any pictures if needed!! :)

hi there
welcome to EP :)

your pics are totally blurry and unreadable
try taking some better photos and post them again

Hi jackfen, as davenn said, the pictures are really bad.
The 1st picture seems to be a 14 pin.
The standard vga was/is a 15 pin. 3 rows of 5 pins.
Can you provide a better picture of the interface card with the pins?

If the card is correct for pc to mac pin-outs it is more than likely that drivers are required.
Which are still readily available.

What is your normal language? Maybe I can help.

(dang ,wrong move. maybe a budweiser or 2 many)

Hrm...
Two things...
The monitor cable is not VGA... which is required by pretty much all PCs or that era that I have seen.

The board... can you explain what it is? It looks like it has an IDE socket on it which is typically used for Harddrive Data cables, and the other end is a DB15. I am doubtful you will get this to work on a PC...
Which end on the board is supposed to go the the display and which to the PC?
