Looking for some info;
A friend of mine has a Whitfield Profile 30 pellet stove. Over the past
2 years he has had numerous problems with it and can't seem to get any
support from Whitfield, local dealers or from Lennox (who bought
Whitfield). Anyway I've been helping to get his stove sorted out. He
has to run the stove on manual operation which seems to work except that
the stove is getting to many pellets for the amount of incoming air.
The damper is wide open but all the pellets are still not completely
burning. The operations manual talks of a calibration button that can
be used to turn the heat control into a fine tuner for the auger feed,
thus allowing the auger feed rate to be changed. But we can't find the
calibration button. The book states that it is located on the control
panel under the "swing down panel". For the life of us we can not find
this button. There is no photo in the manual or further description to
help us find this button, nor can I find anything on the net. Anyone
out there know where this button is?
Roland
ps- I highly recommend that people stay away from purchasing this
stove, support is terrible. I personnally have a Quadrafire 1200 and it
runs flawless.
