Where to get 80C51 programmed in Seattle area?

I need to get a few 80C51's programmed with a monitor program for my home
control system. I finaly found my backup and it works, but that leaves me with
no backup chip.

Does anyone know where I could get my unprogrammed chips (PLCC) programmed in
the Seattle area? Or, where I can buy them with programming included? Or, if you
have a programmer, and could help me out, that would be perfect.

know that later devices used OTPROM or EPROM or flash, but AFAIK they
had distinguishing part numbers, eg 87C51 or 89C51.

You got me. The chip is an Intel 87C51FA-1 which does contain 8K onetime EPROM.
I had labeled the origional as 80C51, and had to dig out my reading glasses to
check the unprogrammed spares. Thanks for catching this.

Be aware that the 87C51 includes lock bits that prevent reading of the
code after programming, as well as an optional encryption array, so it
may not be possible to clone your existing chip.

I origionally programmed the chip, so that should not be a problem.

Thanks for the clue. I should have looked there first. That's where I bought the
128k x 8 SRAMS I was looking for a short time ago.

I just ordered one from McuMall via ebay. $32 + $10 shipping + $15 for the
87C51 adapter.
