What parts do I need?

Hi,

I need to buy parts for an "assistance" project at work.
I want to install momentary push button at each work station that would be pressed when a customer needs assistance. When the "help" momentary button is pressed by a customer, an LED will light up to indicate the signal has been sent. When the signal is sent to an indicating remote, it would energize LED to the corresponding station on the remote (informing of required assistance). This has to be done wirelessly up to 1km of distance. There are 10 work stations at my workplace. (10 transmitters, 1 receiver).

What parts do I need for this?

1Km, Is it "open air" ,not in closed buildings?

Why don't you use walkies-talkies?
Get 11 of them, 10 fixed and 1 (or more)at the "assisting station".
In this why the person needing assistance can describe what the problem is ,and maybe even be assisted remotely (saving the 1Km trip for the assistor...
