What is the Oxford English dictionary of circuit diagrams

Hello everybody,

I am new to this group and relatively new to the world of electronics.
I am trying to research what is the authoratative reference for
electronic symbols that are used in circuit diagrams. i am trying to
colate every possible diagram there is. In short what is the "Oxford
English dictionary" of circuit diagrams that is recognised
internationally? Is there such a place on the internet where these
diagrams can be seen/downloaded.?
