Hey, can any one give me a link to a simple PWM speed control circuit that
will be capable of delivering 80Apms (on take off).

Try microchip´s pic16f88. It has a pwm integrated. Attach a 2n2222
transistor and you´ll get up to an amp. Hope it´s helpful.
