VCR Philips VR 321 - 1994-95 - Video Head ?!!

Onn my VCR I can see nothing on video and I can listen to no sound.
THis appears in play and record mode.

Video in dark without picture. Sound is mute !
How can I test my video head ?
where could I find problem ?!

Does not seem to be head problem. Play a known good tape,also play a
tape recorded on your vcr on another machine to help isolate problem.
