Use of a smartphone MEMS microphone for recording

Hi, I would like to use a MEMS microphone (see picture) taken from a Sony smartphone for an audio recording.
I bought a 6-pin FPC connector to connect it to the flex cable and hope to get a good connection to the 3 (or 4?) contacts of the mic.
I am not sure how to get the audio signal from it since I couldn't find any further information about the mic, e.g. if it is analog or digital.
Do you have any recommendations how to deal with this?

A mems microphone is an active component. It will require a power supply. Look up the datasheet of the chip used to find information about how to connect it.

Thanks Harald. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the datasheet for this MEMS mic (engraving: "S1360 5774", bottom port). Is there a resource that would help me find it?

When it is coming from a phone, it could well be an OEM product.
You will likely not find any data on the part.

Hi Bertus,
thanks, that's a helpful information. I will reconsider ordering my own flex-PCB design and mount one of commercially available mics myself - never did this before though.
