Use for an Xbox joystick unit

I bought an Xbox joystick unit with 2 potentiometers and a press button for a project, but now I found out it's unsuitable for what I needed.

Now I need a use for it. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I might just keep it for a spare for my PS2 controllers if I can't think of anything.

Joysticks wear out. I'd keep it as a spare if you have a system that uses it.
(Or if one of your friends finds a need for it, and you can re-sell it to them)

I don't console game much anymore, and I've got 2 PS3 controllers and 3 PS2 ones, so I'm not really worried, but it'll probably just keep it as a spare.

Was actually the only idea I could think of. Might put it on the end of the list of my projects. We actually have a great shop where I live for RC car parts. For once I won't have to get everything off the internet.
