Hello,
I have a DK Digital USB stick with 2GB capacity and integrated FM receiver, using a single 1,5V AA battery as power supply. I know that the on the USB connector of the PC is 5Vcc available and I wonder if and how would be possible to use it (reduced to 1,5V) as a power supply for my USB stick instead of the 1,5V battery (accu)... I would like to know if this is possible without risks for my PC and, if yes, how to do it (wiring diagram). A further step would be to use that 5Vcc to charge the accu of my USB stick, so I would also be interested in a simple idea of diagram. In both cases, I would like to have very simple schemes, to be able to mount the components inside the USB stick case, but if there are more parts, I could also build an additional module, like an "interface" between USB stick and PC's USB connector.
Thank you in advance for your answers!
Conrad
