URGENT: Need the Manual for a VCR Philips model VR256/75

Urgent: Need the Manual for a VCR Philips VR256/75.

Phoned Philips Customer Support and told that it could be downloaded off the
website - this is not the case, the website only has the European model the
VR256, not the Aust VR256/75 model.

Phoned Customer Service back and they said it would cost $16.95 + $6.95
postage. The manual is about 20pages from memory and A5 size?!?!?!?! Even
if I photocopied the manual myself it wouldnt cost that much?!

Does anyone know where I can get a hard copy, or even a PDF, Word file or
anything that I could download and print myself? Does anyone know of a
website that has the details or someone else that can get a copy to me
please?

THEY were the guys that wanted to charge me for the item? They didnt
mention 'renting'...? Ill have to give them a call?!
