UK based tech guru wanted to help build kids toy prototype....

Hi,
My names is Jamie Hammond and I have been working on a children's toy concept for the last 2 years. I am not very tech minded but an element of our concept revolves around a small device that kids can use our products with. We are a small two man outfit with a great idea but we are looking to work with a tech guru who can help us build the prototype device. Without spilling the beans, the device is fairly simple and mainly requires a system that can read a printable pattern, colour dot, barcode type pattern and transfer that pattern to four separate numbers. There will be two of these scanners on either side of the device with a small piece of programming which would then determine which side has the highest number etc...Once it does this there will be a call to action to play a sound clip and flash an LED.
This is the bare bones of the idea but hopefully will give enough information to allow you to make a decision on wether this project is for you.
We do not expect anybody to work for free and we are able to pay for your time, but we are paying out of our own pockets and although they are deep, we have very short arms.....
We are looking to build solid working relationships with the right people and would prefer to work with UK based interested parties purely due to convenience.
If this sounds of interest to you, please do get in contact with me at
jamie(at)creative bone.co.uk

Many thanks for your time

Kind regards

Jamie

Ha Ha ....it was a play on that old saying. Basically, although we are paying out of our own pockets we don't expect people to work for nothing....

Good luck, hope it works out for you. You may find some one but I suspect you will find that development costs will greatly exceed what you imagined/budgeted for ;)
