Two Zener diode with parallel & reverrse connected to battery

Hi. I'm a newbie to electronics.

I have a interesting in zener diode that i think i can use it for
low voltage cut off of my rechargeable lithium battery(3.6V working
voltage).

I thought zener works like a resistor of high impedence under 0.7V in
forward
direction. So, I connect two zener diodes parrel connect with
different direction and one of its ends to my battery's (+) ve pin.

But, it doesn't work the way I thought. What happen?

The zener diode that i used is 1.0W-5.1V

But, it doesn't work the way I thought. What happen?

The lower zener drops the voltage to (1) 0V7, while the other does
nothing at all (assuming you do not charge the battery through it).

The zener diode that i used is 1.0W-5.1V

When anti-paralleling zeners, they works just like if you used ordinary
diodes.
