if I have a television with a built in digital tuner, can I still use a digital converter/recorder to record tv programs, and will the recorded program will be showing on a analog format from the flash card? Thanks for your reply

If you're talking about a converter that converts analog to digital it should work provided the tuner (in the recorder) is digital.

The build in digital tuner of the tv is probably not being used during recording or playback from an auxiliary input.
