Turbolift handles don't work.

Ok, what I really need is advice on how to wire what I'm sure is a simple circuit. I thought it would be easy but I have almost zero electronics knowledge. It really is for a turbolift, I run Starbase Studios in Oklahoma City and these are for lights in the handles. www.starbasestudios.net

I have 6 led lights and 6 switches. I need to be able to turn on all 6 lights with any switch. Shouldn't that be simple?

Place the switches in parallel so that each one individually provides a path between the power source and the LEDs.

Remember that the LEDs, depending on how they are wired will need at least 1, and possibly 6 resistors.

Figured out what I was doing wrong. It is as easy as I thought it should be. Here is a vid clip of the results.
