Trying to set current on DRV8825 stepper driver board

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to set the Current limit on a DRV8825. I put the negative of my multimeter on the GND pin (top right when pot is in lower left orientation) and then put the positive probe on the VREF point. I see the full voltage of the attached battery.

But when I put the positive probe on the center of the potentiometer, I get 0 (zero) volts and turning the pot does nothing.

Please help. I've tried this on four drv8825 boards and all of them show 0 volts regardless of how I turn the pot.

Have you got the GROUND pinS all grounded? Emphasis on the fact there is more than one ground pin.

Thank you Kelly! They seem to omit that you have to be providing the 5V Vdd and ground from your microcontroller!

I got it working. You saved me loads of wasted time (aside from the 2 wasted hours earlier today!)
