Trying to read a cement power resistor

Okay, so I have a resistor that I'm trying to read but not really finding any information on how to read it. It's a cement resistor about 3.5" long and .75" hxd.

Here is what it reads in roughly the way it is layed out on the resistor:

40B
1.5ΩK
MICRON 15H

The only parts I'm getting are that it's 1.5Ω and I'm guessing the manufacturer is Micron (which I have not succefully found information on).

So what does the rest of the labeling mean? I'm trying to find a replacement for a broken one at work.

And if anyone has any suggested readings on it by all means send a link.

Thanks!

Don't know either, but I know about how most other manufacturers mark their big
resistors.
Your wattage and/or mfgr series is probably their '40B' designation. But you'll have to find something
on the web that identifies that number to the manufacturer.
I'd also wonder if your 1.5 OHM K, denotes 1.5 ohms or 1.5K ohms.
In short, the numbers are the code the manufacturer uses. Keep looking.

I was able to find something a Micron 40W has the dimensions 90mm X 19.5mm X 19.5mm (3.5" X .75" X .75")

Page 5 Im not sure if yours had the little nubs but a 1.5K of that type should do what you need.
