Hey all, I working on a little project in my spare time. I am trying to connect the sonar transducer from my fish finder to my computer so I can program some software to use the transducer on my computer.
I was wondering if I could connect this axom mincrocontroller to work with my transducer instead of the one in the fish finder head unit. Then create some software on my computer to kind of replicate what the fish finder head unit does. I'm not worried about the pgramming part, just trying to get the connection to my computer......

Im new to microcontrollers and sonars but love to learn stuff like this. I think I have a good understanding of what I'm tryin to do here.
Could anyone fill me in on some information or direction?
