TROUBLE with DSC PC1555 ALARM WITH A PC5508Z KEYPAD

I did a factory reset on my PC1555 alarm and got it into the programming mode. set the time and got rid of the TLM problem but did not exit programming mode. left it for a couple of hours and when I got back the trouble light was on but none of the keys will respond. I tried (factory) resetting but keys still do not respond? Can anyone help me I'm at a loss as to what to do.

So its a PC1555, now, TLM is telephone line monitoring, you would have had to turn that off in programming..
The trouble light, can also indicate your location in programming. If the panel is awaiting data entry, that sort of thing.
BUT, you saying, none of the key's responded leads me to believe that its not that.
How are you performing the factory reset?

another question, where did you get the model number from?
