Triboelectric cable

R

Roderick

Hello
Does anyone know what kind of cable (model, type, especs) I need for a
perimeter protection application which uses TRIBOELECTRIC EFFECT? That is
when an intruder moves the fence, it generates triboelectric noise (that
when you move a guitar cable or a mic).

Thank you in advance

Triboelectricity is the electricity generated by friction, like when
you rub something. When you move a shielded cable, the capacitance
changes, causing noise. So you should make a choice, either one or
the other, but neither one is a reliable way of detecting an intruder.
