Transil diode

hi there;
I'm new at hear.And I'm not prety good at electronic work.
Today I have questions to ask you.

Firstly. Could you please substantiate what is the difference between a zener diode and transil diode?
Then my circuit need to use a bidirection transil diode but I can't find it in My country(Thailand) Could I use 2 unidirection transil diodes instead of a bidirection diode?
