Today's salvage

Salvaged a few goodies from an old dell 250w psu. Probably won't ever use some of it but who knows. You sure can get some decent stuff from these things! Not shown is all the wiring for the power cords. I think it is 18ga. Makes for great hookup wire.

Nice haul! Did the p.s. fail? The rectifier looks like it has a scorch mark on one of its legs.

I think a surge may have hit it. If I remember right the mobo was fried. There were a few parts that were BBQd.

To tell you the truth, I am really not sure that the PSU was really hurt. But who knows. I will check the components before using them.
