Hello,
After only 10 days I decided to clean the antec 1200 dust filters.
I am quite amazed that it was only 10 days ago ?!
The dust filters contained only a little bit of dusty... but I was getting
worried because I couldn't see the laser so clear anymore... it had a blurry
look.
So to be on the safe side I decided to clean it.
It went pretty well... just open case doors, unscrew drive bays... push out
a little... pull out dust filter... hold dust filter under the water which
is quicker then try to use wet toiletpaper or so... and then simply dry it a
bit with dry toilet paper lol... and then wave it a little bit... put it
back in... screw everyhing up and your done.
Did hurt my back a little bit but I have bad back.
I can't believe it's just 10 days ago that I assembled it ?
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Seems like month a ago at least lol.
There were also two bottom screws slightly loose.. maybe that explained why
the case sometimes started to vibrate... juuuuust a little bit... but
noticeable... then when I touched it the vibration would stop.
Also I have never seen a case so clean on the inside ! No dust on fan blades
what so ever...
Probably because it's just 10 days ago... and the dust filter catch most of
it.
But it's been running 10 hours per day at least !
So that's already 100 hours of running time... and not a dust particle on
the fan blades !
Also there is one thing which is slightly frustrating...
After opening and closing the case... the bios resets itself.
So then I have to setup it again.. ! Bleah !
Worth it though... nice and quiet =D
Stay cool peeps... =D
Bye,
