Tecsun R9700DX Multiband SW Radio goes blank

Hi,

I have a new radio, it works fine for a few days, but now all the 10 SW bands can hear only blank sound, no station can be pick up. the FM Band however still functioning very well. The battery is new and other SW radio function well in my area.

Is is due to faulty ICs which is unrecoverable? Any chance I can recover it ? How to trouble shoot?

Could be a problem with propagation - I understand there has been some solar storm activity recently which affects shortwave reception around the world.

Wait a few days and try again.

Could be a band select switch problem. They don't last long if used frequently.
