Technika LCD 26-207

Hi at all,

first of all, sorry for my bad English, i am a guy living in Bavaria :)

I have a problem with my Technika TV bought in Ebay.

Mostly every time i try to turn the TV on, the LED turns of, the TV flashes for a really short Time, and i can hear a sound like "klack". I do not know if the sound comes from the speakers or from somewhere else. Then the TV turns itself of, and LED turns blue again.

Nearly 99% of tries to turn the TV on, its like i wrote above. But sometimes, maybe 1 aut of 100 tries i am able to turn the TV on. If the TV runs, hi is doing it like hi should, perfect picture, perfect sound. But if i manual turn of TV and retry to turn it on it its (mostly) like above and hi turns of again.

I think it could be the same problem like other "technika" threads in this forum

can somebody pleas help me?
What can i do? Schotkey? Which one? Or a cap?

Harry

The first step is finding yourself a manual.

Incidentally, answering your own posts simply makes it look like someone is replying to you and tends to reduce the number of people looking at your post.

I don't have time to google for you at the moment, maybe you can see what you come up with.

I would suggest that the first thing you'll end up doing is testing the power supply to see if its producing the right voltages.

It sounds like some protection circuit is shutting down the TV, so running tests may be difficult while it is still active. The manual may suggest how to disable it (at the risk of damaging things further) to take measurements.

That's great -- and cheap. I don't suppose you can highlight on your photo which parts these are?

Did any of them show any evidence of failure?

Do you have the part numbers etc., of the replaced parts?

It certainly looks like a common failure :)

Hi again.

You have to change the following:

Replace C878 (its a Polypropylene capacitor) with 15NF 1600V

There is an other Polypropylene capacitor, can´t remeber boardnumber but he looks exactly like C878. Replace again with 15NF 1600V Cap

Replace C801 with 33UF 63V

Replace C892 with 100UF 50V

Replace c817 with 220uf 25V

at least you have to replace IC829 with an 78L05 (if available on your board)

if your board does not contain IC829 but Q809 you have to replace Q809 with BC337

Sorry, I did not mesure any of this (faulti) parts, so i don´t know which of them were faulty. With the naked eye nothing strange was visible.

Happy soldering :-D
