System Master Code: Partner P-832

I have just moved into a home I purchased which has an alarm system
installed. The previous owners of the home had it monitored by a company
that is now out of business, a local firm. They installed the alarm system.
Since I now own the house and the alarm equipment, I would like to
re-program it. I have tried to find out the System Master Code that I need
to accomplish this, but have not been successful. When I called the company
that bought out the previous monitoring company, all they want to do is set
up monitoring. They say they know the code but it is "confidential" and they
can't tell me.
Is there someway to find out what the code is, or to reset the unit back to
the original factory code?
I have all the manuals, including the Owners Manual, the Installation
Manual, and the Programming Worksheets.
The Unit is a "Partner Products P-832 Security System, Version 2.0

I believe this is a private label branded DSC Power 832. The installation
manual shows you how to default the alarm board back to factory (assuming it
is not locked).

Thanks,
It appears that it is locked. The procedure in the installation manual did
not work.
Thanks for identifying it as a DSC. Knowing that information, I was able to
find an online retailer that sells the unit and it appears that I can buy
the main control board for a DSC 832 for about $55.
I think I will just replace the main board which I will then be able to
program. That will allow me to use the current keypads, etc.

Double check the make of panel it is by reading the writing on the main CPU.
Somewhere there it should positively identify it as a DSC product. Only the
cans and sometimes the keypads are private labelled.

The quick way to determine for sure if the board is indeed locked is to
power up with AC and listen closely for a series of about 10 clicks (you may
have to disconnect the siren which could mask the clicking...). If it
clicks, it IS locked. You can send it to someone to unlock for about $20,
but for $50 it's better to buy a new board (as you said). That way you're
sure it will work properly....
