Switch mode power supply. Help!

I tried repairing a switch mode power supply. Whenever I measure the output, it gives the expected voltage rating. But when I supply it to a load, it does not give anything. What can be the problem? Please help. Thank you!

it is the power supply for the console of a CT scan. we already tried that. is there anything else we could do? tnx!

im sorry. i dont have one now. but it outputs 24v 12a. what other load can we test it with? i actually have an improvised load tester. but i am not 100% sure if it can handle the power supply.

Try two 12V car bulbs in series. They will take quite a large current when cold but if they are 36W, they should run at 3A.

i have tried with a 24V 4.2A load. nothing still.
