surveillance software

Hi,

I'm looking for professional grade surveillance software for Linux. I've
looked at the available freeware but this market segment is still in it's
infancy in Linux.

I need the basic features -- monitor 4 or more cams, adjustable motion
detection and hard disk recording. Looking to buy a professional grade
application. Reccommendations would be appreciated.....

The software looks perfect. Unfortunately, they only sell the software
bundled with their own hardware. Any other suggestions?

As you said, "this market segment is still in its infancy in Linux".

Anyone's software is only going to work with certain equipment as there is
currently no commonly used standard when it comes to the data formats used
to communicate between your Linux box and the field.
